Since 1994, I have created over 1800 resumes for individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Typically, my customers fall into three categories: recent college graduates seeking career opportunities, employed workers and professionals seeking new paths or promotion, and unemployed persons seeking employment. Each project is vastly different. Each customer brings his or her unique employment, skill sets and attributes to the resume project table.
My responsibility is to collect all pertinent information, sort it, analyze it, and then organize it in a comprehensible format. As job seeker, your task is to furnish accurate information and help me to understand your work and your achievements. If you are targeting positions in your area of expertise, then, in part, I will need to know the terminologies and buzzwords common to your business. If you are changing career paths, it will be necessary to examine your qualifications as they relate to your new interests. The resume project is a collaborative effort and the information gathering session is key to the success of the project.
The Initial > The Review > The Delivery
There is no charge for the information gathering session
The resume Initial session is a comprehensive brainstorming meeting. This information gathering session is approximately 2 to 2-1/2 hours long and is free-of-charge to the customer. Information including employment history, education, training, strengths and skills, and achievements is discussed and recorded.
The resume Review meeting occurs within 72 hours of the initial session. The final draft is examined and edited. This session is 20 to 30 minutes long.
The resume Email Delivery may be made immediately following the review meeting. Your resume presentation on compact disk is also available.
Creating a resume that captures interviews takes time to prepare - there are no shortcuts. Effective writing, design, layout, and organization of the information are key factors to a successful resume writing project.
